Quality low-mileage used cars remain in short supply, so we’re excited to share that we’re launching a new feature with a big campaign to connect more consumers (and their current vehicles) with local dealerships.
The new Your Garage feature on Cars.com empowers consumers to save vehicles to their account to track, forecast, and then cash-in their value.
Your Garage gives consumers two different ways to begin their car selling journey:
- Get instant offer, which asks for just a few more details and photos, and then provides an exact cash offer (pending inspection) from a local dealership that is leveraging AccuTrade to instantly appraise cars on Cars.com, their website, and in-store.
- List your car for free, which guides the consumers to create their own listing on Cars.com, respond to leads, and ultimately sell the car privately on their own. Consumers who choose this option will receive ongoing reminders throughout that process that they can skip the hassle by cashing-in an instant offer at a local dealership instead.
