New website trade-in UX increases leads +50%

Our team is constantly innovating to simplify our technology solutions and the experiences they enable. 

We recently applied that philosophy to our AccuTrade website trade-in solution, which prompts a series of questions about the consumer’s vehicle to generate an Instant Offer on their exact VIN, right from the dealer’s website.

To maximize performance, we tested a new version that’s able to use the license plate or VIN number to instantly pre-populate vehicle details, which compresses the user experience to a single page and puts the consumer’s Instant Offer just one tantalizing click away.

It really worked. By automatically filling out the vehicle’s mileage, condition history, and ownership information for the user — we saw a 50% increase in trade-in leads delivered to dealers in the pilot1.
