PLATFORM UPDATE | OCTOBER 2024
New VRP Image Carousel
Now available on
Empower shoppers to search from every angle
To help simplify and accelerate each website visitor’s search for the perfect car, our new VRP (Vehicle Results Page) Image Carousel empowers shoppers to quickly preview multiple vehicle images directly from the search results — without needing to click into each vehicle’s VDP.
As always in developing this feature, our team was focused on simplifying the experience to convert more website visitors into customers. Here’s how:
- Enhances engagement: Keeps shoppers on your site longer by providing a visually rich, interactive experience that showcases vehicles from multiple angles.
- Efficient browsing: Shoppers can quickly view more vehicle photos and angles without leaving the search results, helping them confidently hone in on the right one for them more quickly.
- Improved mobile experience: Mobile users can easily scroll or swipe through vehicle images, providing a seamless experience wherever they shop.
Performance-driven design
To ensure every interaction leads to insights, all VRP image engagements are tracked through GA4 event tracking. This data-driven approach gives your team actionable insights into shopper behavior and which elements of your website are most engaging.
This latest feature is one of many updates in a year of transformative innovation at Dealer Inspire focused on speed and user experience. Based on shopping behavior insights from across our network of our websites, we recently deployed a more modern, modular design system update that is driving some serious gain in engagement and conversions.
